Eloy S. Inos declared an ALL CLEAR condition for the islands of Saipan, Tinian and Rota at 0800 this morning. The CNMI Office of Homeland Security &amp; Emergency Management is currently conducting damage assessment Saturday morning on all three islands to ascertain an estimate of damage caused by the storm.<\/p>\n<p>The following are updates compiled by the Office of Public Information &amp; Protocol:<\/p>\n<p>Shelter Use:<br \/>\nShelters were made available at 6 pm on May 14, 2015. Dandan Middle School shelter reached maximum capacity prior to Dolphin\u2019s arrival, with 31 individuals seeking shelter.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 263 individuals were in the shelters as of 5:00am May, 16, 2015<\/p>\n<p>Shelter Breakdown:<\/p>\n<p>Tanapag Elementary \u2013 12<br \/>\nGarapan Elementary \u2013 47<br \/>\nKoblerville Elementary \u2013 89<br \/>\nDandan Middle School \u2013 31<br \/>\nSan Vicente Elementary School \u2013 10<br \/>\nKagman High School \u2013 25<br \/>\nMarianas High School \u2013 6<br \/>\nTinian Elementary School \u2013 24<br \/>\nDr. Rita Inos Jr\/Sr High School \u2013 0<br \/>\nRota Aging Center \u2013 19<\/p>\n<p>Status of shelters \u2013 Shelters are still open and available for those in need.<\/p>\n<p>As of the declaration of ALL-CLEAR, the number has significantly dropped as residents return to assess their homes.<\/p>\n<p>Infrastructure:<br \/>\nFeeder 4 (Wireless), Kiya 1(2nd Partial) and Feeder 1 (2nd Partial) are currently offline.<\/p>\n<p>Power outages persist in Kiya 1 (2nd partial, Lower Dandan, Isley Field, Airport, As Perdido, and SanVicente\/Standford), Kiya 2 (Fina Sisu, San Antonio, As Lito,Chalan Kiya, Afetnas, As Gunno), Feeder 1 (2nd partial, Navy Hill, Chalan Galaide, Southern side of Sadog Tasi), Feeder 3 (China Town), Feeder 4 Wireless area, Feeder 7 (Tanapag next to Jr. High &amp; Basketcourt, As Matuis ).<\/p>\n<p>Rota Feeder No. 1 and Feeder No. 2 are down.<\/p>\n<p>All feeders in Tinian are online.<\/p>\n<p>Power lines were reported down near Char\u2019s Market on Beach Road, and in Chalan Kanoa across the Post Office.<\/p>\n<p>Fallen tree was reported near Coral Ocean Point leading to the airport, a fallen tree was spotted northbound from La Fiesta, and a fallen tree was reported in Gualo Rai on Earhart St.<\/p>\n<p>As of this moment, CUC and DPW teams are working in assessing damage and clearing debris.<\/p>\n<p>Public Safety:<\/p>\n<p>One telephone pole caught fire, but it was extinguished by CUC and Department of Fire &amp; EMS personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Before HSEM evaluates the situation on the islands, residents are advised to avoid roadways if possible and remain vigilant for fallen debris, impeded roadways, and fallen power lines.<\/p>\n<p>Health:<\/p>\n<p>As of 1:00 am, CHCC and the Tinian Health Center were on CUC\u2019s power grid. Rota Health Center has been running on a generator, with one patient in Labor &amp; Delivery, and one brought in for observation.<\/p>\n<p>No fatalities reported during the storm.<\/p>\n<p>1 live birth occurred at 10:02 pm on May 15, 2015<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gov.
