The CNMI Masters baseball team that is being formed continues to make its plans for the upcoming Guam tournament later this month, as they will again hold a meeting today at 5:30pm at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium pavilion inside the Oleai Sports Complex.<\/p>\n
Saipan Baseball League coordinator Tony Rogolifoi is at the forefront of organizing the team and looking for sponsors for the Guam trip.<\/p>\n
The Guam Masters Baseball Tournament, which is open to players Over-40, is set from May 29 to June 5 at the Dededo Complex.<\/p>\n
Five teams, led by defending champion Guahan, have already confirmed their participation in the upcoming nine-day tournament.<\/p>\n
Adahi, Net Tour, Padres, and an Australian team are the other competing squads.
\nThe team is busy with their fundraising activities where they also sent out solicitation letters to potential sponsors.<\/p>\n
