{"id":202268,"date":"2015-05-22T06:00:45","date_gmt":"2015-05-21T20:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=202268"},"modified":"2015-05-22T06:00:45","modified_gmt":"2015-05-21T20:00:45","slug":"escaped-prisoner-in-guam-apprehended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/escaped-prisoner-in-guam-apprehended\/","title":{"rendered":"Escaped prisoner in Guam apprehended"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Escaped detainee Meisy Aliwis was apprehended by joint team of law enforcement officers on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at about 7:10pm on Emma Street in the village of Barrigada, Guam.<\/p>\n<p>According to a Guam Department of Corrections statement yesterday, the ongoing internal investigation will validate any and all information that was received with regards to the manner in which Aliwis was able to leave the Department of Corrections facility undetected for any amount of time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShould the investigation reveal any improprieties, professional misconduct or criminal conduct, those involved will be dealt with accordingly and held accountable to the fullest extent of the law,\u201d the statement says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe continue to ask the public to report any information they may have in reference to Mr. Meisy Aliwis\u2019 escape to Lt.
