Wild Bill\u2019s defeated Route 33 Alamo Car Rental, 9-6, in their match up last week\u2019s to make things more exciting in the last three play dates of the Budweiser-Saipan Billiards Association Open 8-Ball Thursday League.<\/p>\n
Nong Detdon, Victor Formales, Oliver Gragasin, and Rey Pinangay\u2014with Wild Bill\u2019s holding on to a 7-5 lead\u2014delivered the two wins that sealed their win against the league leaders to improve their record to 127-98.<\/p>\n
Route 33, despite the loss, still enjoys a five-game edge against Wild Bill\u2019s at 132-93. The Abyss-backed teams\u2014Rack \u2018N\u2019 Roll (124-101) and Titans (123-102)\u2014are third and fourth.<\/p>\n
The last three weeks remain unpredictable and anything could still happen with Wild Bill\u2019s, the Rack \u2018N\u2019 Roll, and the Titans threatening Route 33\u2019s title hopes.<\/p>\n
The Titans went back into title contention after winning by default against the cellar-dwelling Barcode Breakers (64-161), 15-0, while the Hobbies Deadshot (111-114) trounced Jonny\u2019s Team SCS (92-133), 11-4.<\/p>\n
The Rack \u2018N\u2019 Roll defated the Jokers Homeboyz (11-106), 10-5, while the Wonderpool Aces (114-11) escaped with an 8-7 decision over the Smoke Pub Magic 8-Ball (119-106).<\/p>\n
Route 33 hopes to widen its lead over its closest pursuers when they visit the Rack \u2018N\u2019 Roll tonight, while Wild Bill\u2019s takes on the Deadshot. Team SCS will host the Magic 8-Ball and the Homeboyz collided with the Breakers while the Titans clash with the Wonderpool Aces.<\/p>\n
In the Tuesday League, the Smoke Pub Armatech Hustlers scored an easy 12-3 decision over the Abyss Homeboyz II to keep its hold of the top spot with a 134-91 card and dropping their opponents further down the cellar at 84-141<\/p>\n
The Jokers IT&E Voyagers are five games behind at 129-96 following a 10-5 trouncing of the Abyss Crazy 8 (112-113), while the Jokers STR8 Shooters (110-115) clipped the Smoke Pub Ali\u2019I Destoryers (106-119), 10-5.<\/p>\n
Results of the matches between the Shooters and the Crazy 8, Destroyers and Hustlers, and Voyagers and Homeboyz II are not yet available at press time.<\/p>\n
