(Jon Perez)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MHS completed an undefeated season, winning their 10th straight game to clinch a third consecutive MISO girls\u2019 softball crown.<\/p>\n<p>The Lady Dolphins crushed the Saipan Southern High School Lady Manta Rays, 26-10, in the semifinals, while the MCS Lady Knights scored a come-from-behind 9-6 win over the Kagman High School Lady Ayuyus.<\/p>\n<p>Dalusong, with no outs and MHS enjoying a 10-6 lead, blasted a bases-clearing inside-the-park homer to highlight the Lady Dolphins\u2019 six-run third-inning barrage.<\/p>\n<p>Franica Masga had a lead off walk, Levani Shiro followed with a single, and Julie Ann Reyes walked to load up the bases setting up Dalusong\u2019s round-tripper.<\/p>\n<p>Dalusong went 3-for-5 with a pair of singles, four runs, and had four RBIs, while Pangelinan, who also scored four times, had a solo shot in the second inning.<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer Dela Cruz was tagged with eight earned runs on six hits while striking out four batters and walking four more.<\/p>\n<p>She quickly retired Karleen Reyes after forcing the Mt. Carmel infielder to pop out, which was caught by third baseman Julie Ann Reyes for the first out.<\/p>\n<p>Dela Cruz then struck out Jan Travilla swinging, then ended the game when Quina Flores flied out to left fielder Jodeen Frederick.<\/p>\n<p>Dela Cruz also threw seven wild pitches and hit six batters by pitch where MCS scored twice in a bases-loaded sixth inning.<\/p>\n<p>Mt. Carmel also committed 14 errors in the game, which also failed to help their cause.<\/p>\n<p>MHS defeated Saipan Southern High School in 2012, 17-16, to win its first softball crown and duplicated the feat against the Lady Mantas, 9-7, last year.
