{"id":202524,"date":"2015-05-25T06:00:57","date_gmt":"2015-05-24T20:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=202524"},"modified":"2015-05-25T06:00:57","modified_gmt":"2015-05-24T20:00:57","slug":"sis-graduates-largest-class","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/sis-graduates-largest-class\/","title":{"rendered":"SIS graduates largest class"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Saipan International School graduated what headmaster Tim Bray called an \u201ceclectic\u201d bunch of high school students in a ceremony last Friday at the Saipan World Resort.<\/p>\n<p>SIS\u2019 senior class of 2015, made of about 29 students, was also their largest in its history.<\/p>\n<p>SIS awarded two valedictorians, Minori Yoshida and Jee Hyun Lee. Yoshida heads to Columbia University.<br \/>\n<a attid=\"202525\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/mugs.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/mugs-300x144.jpg\" alt=\"mugs\" width=\"300\" height=\"144\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-202525\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nVictoria Chentsova was salutatorian. She heads to Williams College.<\/p>\n<p>Bray wished the students the success and happiness in the things they pursue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are a very interesting group of people, they have their own personality as a class. I just hope for the best for them. They are all going off to college so I wish them the best success,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Russian, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean students, among others, made up SIS\u2019 graduating class.
