We’re happy, it helped that a lot were inquiring about the voter’s ID,” he said.

More than 3,000 voter’s IDs were for releasing at the mission.

More than 500 of the 600 scheduled applicants for passports came and had their biometrics and other information processed. Some even came all the way from Tinian and Rota.

Of the 339 passports that were for releasing, only 19 were unclaimed and will be brought back to Guam.

More than 20 passports have been approved for extension.

Seventy-seven individuals availed of the special power of attorney, 10 filed reports of birth, while four marriages were recorded.

There were also authentications, affidavits and certifications that were processed.

Auxilian said they are looking at the third week of July for their fourth mission in the CNMI this year. They will probably conduct a three-day mission, unlike the five-day mission they just concluded. They are also looking at holding it on Rota and Tinian.

“[The location] is subject to consideration. We have to assess how many Filipinos need passport renewals on Tinian and Rota,” Auxilian said.

He also thanked the volunteers and the members of the United Filipino Organization for assisting them in the mission.

The Philippine Consulate General’s third mobile consular mission on Saipan this year was deemed a…

[4
26,4948,308,222
post-202901","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news","tag-cnmi","tag-consul-edgar-auxilian","tag-id","tag-united-filipino-organization
["GET
