Reyes teammates John Mark Anastacio (silver), left, and John Ray Shahadat (bronze) at the podium.<br \/>(Jon Perez)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sablan and the rest of the more than 300 youngsters had to wait for one week before plunging into action as Typhoon Dolphin postponed the event, which was originally set from May 14 to 16.<\/p>\n<p>Sablan\u2019s wait was worth it as she ruled the 60m, 100m, 200m, and 400m runs where her 200m run time eclipsing Conatsu Kaga\u2019s record last year. She had personal best times in all of her events, eclipsing her records in the qualifiers.<\/p>\n<p>Sablan clocked in 9.09 seconds, shaving a tenth of a second during the qualifiers, 9.19, to win the 60m run gold then improved her 15.2 qualifying mark in the 100m run when she topped the race in 14.53 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>She then added the 200m run gold after posting the fastest time of 32.74 seconds or close to five seconds faster than her qualifying time of 37.12 and better than Kaga\u2019s 33.49 in last year\u2019s championship.<\/p>\n<p>San Vicente Elementary School teammates Victoria Torres (9.26) and Juliet Inocencio (9.40) finished second and third in the 60m run and changed places in the 100m sprint with the latter clinching the silver (15.03) and the latter the bronze (15.23).<\/p>\n<p>Whispering Palms School\u2019s River Kramer placed second in the 200m run with a time of 33.85 seconds, while Inocencio clinched the bronze (34.12).<\/p>\n<p>Sablan then completed her gold-medal sweep in the 400m run when she crossed the finish line in 1:19.50 beating Kramer by 0.37 seconds as the WPS bet clocked in 1:19.87. Kagman Elementary School\u2019s Joina Gildilak was third (1:23.53).<\/p>\n<p>Kramer bounced back in the 800m run with a 3:12.64 time to lead a 1-2 finish for Whispering Palms as teammate Ellie Epley settled for the silver (3:13.73). Koblerville\u2019s Princess Kasian (3:36.28) won the bronze.<\/p>\n<p>Kasian won Koblerville\u2019s fifth gold after ruling the 1,500m run with a time of 7:30.28 to beat Violet Allen of Whispering Palms by a hair (7:31.01). Marinel Falalimpa, also of Koblerville, was third (8:03.51).<\/p>\n<p>William S. Reyes\u2019 Raenna Ramarui and Paulynn Joyce gave the Kingfishers two gold medals in the long jump (4.58) and vortex-throw (26.32).<\/p>\n<p>Inocencio (4.42) and Kasian (4.10) finished second and third to Ramarui in the long jump event, while Heart Esquivel of WSR (26.03) and Tinian\u2019s Pritzel Carreon (23.80) duplicated the feat in the v-throw.<\/p>\n<p>In the U10 boys division, Saipan International School\u2019s Rintaro Miyawaki gave the Geckos three gold medals in the 400m (1:17.73), 800m (2:51.26), and 1,500m (5:48.41) running events. His 5:48.41 time in the 1500m run is better than his last year\u2019s 5:54.26 record.<\/p>\n<p>WSR\u2019s Jim Maniago (1:23.98) and San Vicente\u2019s John Lloyd Tuquero (1:25.19) came in second and third in the 400m run, while Marcus Pelisamen also of WSR (3:17.30) and Whispering Palms\u2019 Max Church (3:20.23) equaling the feat in the 800m run.
