GCA\u2019s class of 2015 was made up of about 19 students.<\/p>\n<p>Principal Beth Ann Nunez delivered the ceremony\u2019s message that afternoon, urging students to \u201cshine on!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nunez, who was quoting Paul the Apostle, urged students to stay away from complaining and arguing and to learn to love each other despite their differences.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_203110\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-203110\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/GCA-pix.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/GCA-pix-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Grace Christian Academy graduated about 19 sixth graders on Thursday last week. Students were awarded diplomas and special awards recognizing certain students were given out.<\/p>\n<p>Valedictorian Elijah Joshua Pajarillaga thanked teacher Mrs. Rowena, for being a \u201cblessing\u201d to their class.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cYou are very patient with use even though we make many mistakes and do not always perfect our wrongdoings,\u201d he said in his valedictory address.<\/p>\n<p>To a \u201cMr. C,\u201d he called this teacher a \u201cgrandfather I never had.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince I don\u2019t live in the Philippines, I don\u2019t always get to meet and talk to my grandfather, and you show me what a grandfather is like. You are very funny, yet you are still wise and focused,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>To his parents, he thanked his mother for teaching him how to work hard, which is \u201cthe only reason I can and do get academic awards.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To his father, Pajarillaga said, \u201cYou are the only one with jokes\u201d in their family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy competitive spirit is yours and will always be. My understanding and love of technology is also yours,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He also gave a shoutout to his best friend, Arvin, for revealing his skills in computer games. \u201cI hope I will one day beat you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>To his fellow classmates, he quoted former U.S. President Woodrow Wilson, \u201cThe only use of an obstacle is to be overcome. All that an obstacle does with brave men is not to frighten them, but to challenge them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He urged his classmates to continue with whatever challenges they may face in life and to do so with faith.<\/p>\n<p>Salutatorian was Na Lee Lee, who was also the recipient of the Eagle Award, the school\u2019s most prestigious award. The Eagle Award is given to students who demonstrate excellence in academics, citizenship, and Christian character.<\/p>\n<p>In his salutatory address, he gave thanks to his parents, his teachers, pastors, and fellow classmates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thank each one of my fellow classmates for their help and care. Each one of you are talented, unique, and are awesome! And always that each one of you were born with a special purpose from God.
