The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects in the fatal shooting of security guard James Patrick Deleon Guerrero inside a poker arcade in Afetnas.<\/p>\n
ATF special agent\/public information officer Brian Bennett in a press release said anyone with information about the murder of Deleon Guerrero should contact ATF at 1-800-ATF-GUNS (800-283-4867).<\/p>\n
Bennett said anyone with information may also call the Department of Public Safety at 670-664-9001 or Crime Stoppers at 670-234-7272<\/p>\n
\u201cAll calls will be kept confidential,\u201d Bennett said.<\/p>\n
The ATF public information officer said that, on April 21, 2015 at 5:45am, an armed suspect shot at the Royal Poker Arcade\u2019s cashier in a failed robbery attempt.<\/p>\n
Bennett said the suspect subsequently fatally shot security guard Deleon Guerrero before fleeing the scene.<\/p>\n
The cashier was not hurt.<\/p>\n
Autopsy showed that the victim died of a gunshot wound to the right side of his chest.<\/p>\n
The suspect failed to get any money and fled on foot, police said.<\/p>\n
Police found the victim\u2019s body in the bathroom.<\/p>\n
Police said the surveillance camera\u2019s footage shows the armed suspect, approximately 5\u20198\u201d to 5\u201910\u201d tall, medium build, walked in wearing a gray military pattern dress uniform, black mask covering his face.<\/p>\n
Police have stated have very strong leads in the case.<\/p>\n
Department of Public Safety Commissioner James C. Deleon Guerrero told Saipan Tribune last night that he is unaware of any federal or state law enforcement agency that\u2019s offering a reward for the poker homicide incident.<\/p>\n
Deleon Guerrero, however, stated that if indeed the ATF is making such an offer, this, they hope would be enough of an incentive for individuals with information to come forward.<\/p>\n
The commissioner said DPS welcomes this development and that he urged members of the community to work with authorities and share what they know about this incident. \u201cLastly, I thank the ATF for having made this case a priority of their agency,\u201d Deleon Guerrero said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
