The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, the CNMI\u2019s state library, will be having a summer library program with the theme \u201cEvery Hero Has a Story.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 2015 Collaborative Summer Library Program will focus on everyday heroes in the community.<\/p>\n
\u201cReaders of all ages will explore and learn about community heroes such as firefighters, police officers, teachers, and park rangers this summer,\u201d associate librarian Erlinda Naputi said.<\/p>\n
Program activities will include Reading with Rangers, read aloud, group games, physical challenges, art projects, science and engineering experiments, independent reading challenge and special guest readers.<\/p>\n
The program is open to children ages 6 to12.<\/p>\n
Registration for \u201cEvery Hero Has a Story\u201d begins on Saturday, June 13, and lasts until June 19.<\/p>\n
Registration is required as seats are limited and a child who wants to join must have a valid JKPL card with no pending fees and fines.<\/p>\n
