Early yesterday morning, a helicopter, shoreline teams, and additional surface craft resumed operations. Yesterday\u2019s searches were conducted by a small boat, three divers and two jet skis from Guam Fire Rescue, a small boat and shoreline team from Guam Police Department, a helicopter from Naval Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25, the 110-foot Coast Guard cutter Washington, and a 45-foot rescue boat from Coast Guard Station Apra Harbor.<\/p>\n<p>Updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.<\/p>\n<p>In related news, the Coast Guard and Honolulu Fire Department are searching for a missing scuba diver near Makaha Beach Park, Oahu, Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Watchstanders at Sector Honolulu Command Center received notification from one of the divers reporting an overdue 50-year-old male last seen at 8:15pm approximately one mile off Makaha Beach Park.<\/p>\n<p>Watchstanders launched an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point. A 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew from Station Honolulu, and Coast Guard cutter Kittiwake, an 87-foot coastal patrol boat homeported in Honolulu, also launched to assist with the search. Also participating in the search are one Honolulu Fire Department dive boat and one jet ski.<\/p>\n<p>HFD established a command post at Keaau Beach Park.<\/p>\n<p>The missing diver, identified as JJ Jackson, was last seen wearing a black full wetsuit and scuba gear. <em><strong>(USCG)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SANTA RITA, Guam\u2014Responders continue to search for the missing spear fisherman off of Agat.
