{"id":204101,"date":"2015-06-12T06:00:25","date_gmt":"2015-06-11T20:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=204101"},"modified":"2015-06-12T06:00:25","modified_gmt":"2015-06-11T20:00:25","slug":"club-lao-championship-finals-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/club-lao-championship-finals-saturday\/","title":{"rendered":"Club Lao Championship finals Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Four players will vie for the two finals berth when the IT&#038;E Club Lao Championship resumes this Saturday at the Lao Lao Bay Golf &#038; Resort.<\/p>\n<p>Jin Feng Chun, who is in his mid 20s, will take on youngster Dong Young Lee for the men\u2019s title, while the 11-year-old\u2019s mother, Kwon Young Sook will face Jennifer Hegland for the women\u2019s crown. The winners will clash for the Club championship.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a possibility that a mother-son finals would take place in the Club finals, which will follow a match play format.<\/p>\n<p>The final match play will be held at the LaoLao Bay Golf &#038; Resort\u2019s west course and tee time is set at 8am. The winners of the morning matches will clash for the Club title, with the final game to start 30 minutes after.<\/p>\n<p>The four players survived last week\u2019s elimination, quarterfinal, and semifinal rounds held at LaoLao Bay Golf &#038; Resort\u2019s west course.<\/p>\n<p>The Club champion will get 120 rounds of golf for one year, while the first placer in the men\u2019s, ladies, and random players divisions will receive 60 rounds for 6 months, and the runners-up will win 10 rounds for one month.<\/p>\n<p>Cash prizes and other in-kind certificates were given away to the Top 8 finishers in the double-peoria format eliminations as well as for the men\u2019s and ladies low gross winners last weekend.
