Police did not find foul play behind the death of a 29-year-old Chinese man who was recently found dead on the terrace of the second floor of the 18-story Grandvrio Resort on Saipan.<\/p>\n
The Garapan hotel was formerly called Hafadai Beach Hotel.<\/p>\n
Department of Public Safety Commissioner James C. Deleon Guerrero told Saipan Tribune that the victim\u2019s death has been ruled a suicide.<\/p>\n
Deleon Guerrero did not elaborate because it\u2019s a suicide.<\/p>\n
DPS acting spokesman Jason Tarkong also confirmed it\u2019s a suicide, but he too did not release other details.<\/p>\n
On June 12 at 6:26am, police responded to Grandvrio Resort after receiving report about a possible dead person.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, police met with witnesses and hotel\u2019s staff who came across the victim, who was found on the terrace area of the second floor.<\/p>\n
The victim had no pulse and not breathing when police came.<\/p>\n
Tarkong earlier said police learned the victim\u2019s name, but his name will not be released pending notification of the next of kin.<\/p>\n
The victim was transported to the Commonwealth Health Center, where he was pronounced dead by Dr. Jeremy Seelinger at 8:43am.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
