The Marianas Visitors Authority aided four media FAM tours from Japan this month for coverage expected to bring over $5 million in media exposure for Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.<\/p>\n
\u201cSekai Summer Resort\u201d focuses on resort travel destinations and beautiful beaches around the world. The program broadcasts to 3.3 million households in Japan and filmed for five days this month at various beaches on Saipan, Managaha, and Hyatt Regency Saipan for its July 25, 2015, TV episode.<\/p>\n
\u201cSekai Ittemitara Honto ha Konna Tako Datta\u201d spent three days filming on Rota this month for the overseas information variety shows that airs to 5.1 million households across Japan. The program will introduce \u201cRota\u2019s True Color\u201d and attractions in a 54-minute program, which airs on July 28. While on Rota, the show filmed at beaches, restaurants, hotel\/spa, and other tourist sites.<\/p>\n
Because of their wide viewership, the two television shows are expected to bring a combined ad exposure value of $5.4-million to the Northern Marianas.<\/p>\n

The daily news program \u201cWonder\u201d airs to over 590,000 households in the Osaka area and will air a 20-minute program later this month focusing on Tinian. The program will cover this month\u2019s visit of a World War II memorial tour from Osaka, and includes a memorial ceremony and historic sites on Tinian.<\/p>\n
Sankei Sports Tokyo Edition visited Saipan to prepare for a sports fishing article in a July edition. The daily newspaper distributes to over 750,000 subscribers and newsstands and will feature two winners of the Sanspo Fishing Challenge 2014 that won a fishing tour in Saipan from the MVA.
