{"id":205327,"date":"2015-06-29T06:00:13","date_gmt":"2015-06-28T20:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=205327"},"modified":"2015-06-29T06:00:13","modified_gmt":"2015-06-28T20:00:13","slug":"same-faces-rule-nmsf-fun-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/same-faces-rule-nmsf-fun-run\/","title":{"rendered":"Same faces rule NMSF fun run"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jack Stewart and Mamiko Berger remain the runners to beat after they ruled the inaugural Northern Marianas Sports Foundation 10-kilometer Fun Run last Saturday .<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-205327 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon '>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/same-faces-rule-nmsf-fun-run\/nmasapixberger\/'>nmasapix(berger)<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-205333'>\n\t\t\t\tBerger\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon '>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/same-faces-rule-nmsf-fun-run\/nmasapixstewart\/'>nmasapix(stewart)<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-205334'>\n\t\t\t\tStewart\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>More than 70 runners competed in the race that  started and ended at Micro Beach with 35 joining the men\u2019s open and 15 in women\u2019s divisions.<\/p>\n<p>Stewart, who topped the 22nd Annual Tom Picarro Memorial Fun Run on June 13 and finished second to Keith Longuski in the June 8 Run For Nepal, submitted the fastest overall time of 40:34 to clinch the men\u2019s open title.<\/p>\n<p>Stewart enjoyed an almost four-minute lead over youth runner Seiya Eda, who will be representing the CNMI in next week\u2019s Summer Universiade set from July 3 to July 14 in Gwangju, South Korea.<\/p>\n<p>Eda, who also competed in the open men\u2019s division, came in after 44:03, while Charlie Sendin was 44 seconds behind at 44:47.
