The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. is set to present today its first annual report since Gov. Eloy S. Inos restored power to it\u2019s board of directors in April last year.<\/p>\n
On the agenda for today\u2019s meeting is the annual executive director\u2019s report, an annual board chairperson\u2019s report, and financial and budget reports.<\/p>\n
Executive director Alan Fletcher is not expected to be at the meeting tomorrow, as he has taken vacation leave before the expiration of his contract on July 14. Fletcher sent in his resignation letter in May.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe acting executive director will be announced at tomorrow\u2019s board meeting,\u201d said CUC public information officer Brad Ruszala when asked.<\/p>\n
Right now, CUC\u2019s deputy executive director, division manager for drinking water and wastewater, and the technical manager for oil positions are vacant despite recent national and internal recruitment efforts. The executive director position joins these long unfilled positions.<\/p>\n
CUC now has vacant four of the eight senior management positions required under \u201cStipulated Order No. 1,\u201d which was signed by the federal court in 2009 to reverse longstanding compliance and public health issues at CUC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
