Brian Clayton will now serve as vice president, Marcia Ayuyu as secretary, Thomas Thornburg as treasurer, and Wayne Gillespie as sergeant-at-arms.<\/p>\n

Directors for the new year are Elitza Stoilova for club services, Larry Philip for community services, Wendell Posadas for vocational services, Richard Cody for international services, Sapuro Rayphand for new generations, and Ben Babauta for foundation.<\/p>\n
Norbert Sablan was also sworn in as assistant district governor of Rotary Club Saipan.<\/p>\n
Productive year<\/strong><\/p>\n In his outgoing speech, now past president Cody thanked all those who served with him during the past year.<\/p>\n He also gave star awards to Sonya Dancoe and Ayuyu for serving beyond their call of duty with regards to the Kagman Family Park project and providing significant contributions to the club.<\/p>\n \u201cA year ago, the last sentence of my induction speech stated: as members of the Rotary Club of Saipan, let us do our part for light up Rotary for 2014-2015,\u201d Cody said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt has been a good and productive year for Rotary Club of Saipan and I think we have met and exceeded the expectations for our club, and for that, I thank each and every one of you,\u201d Dancoe said.<\/p>\n \u2018Be a gift to the world\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI like to raise a toast to our past president Richard Cody for successfully \u2018lighting up\u2019 Rotary for a year. A candle, sir, you lit a year ago will forever shine on the Rotary Club of Saipan, thank you,\u201d Dancoe said in his speech.<\/p>\n Dancoe presented the Rotary Club\u2019s new theme for their new year which is \u201cBe a gift to the world.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI look forward to being a gift to the world for 2015 to 2016,\u201d he said, also reminding members of what Rotary Club truly means.<\/p>\n New member<\/strong><\/p>\n Kevin McCale of Docomo Pacific was inducted as the newest member of the club.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m very happy to be here. I\u2019m glad that I was accepted and I will fulfill this responsibility as best as I can,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n With the addition of McCale, the Rotary Club now has 41 members.
