{"id":205953,"date":"2015-07-07T04:00:48","date_gmt":"2015-07-06T18:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=205953"},"modified":"2015-07-07T04:00:48","modified_gmt":"2015-07-06T18:00:48","slug":"no-rota-power-outages-ports-reopen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/no-rota-power-outages-ports-reopen\/","title":{"rendered":"No Rota power outages, ports reopen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As Tropical Storm Chan-Hom passed through the CNMI, there were no power outages on Rota and only brief outages in Garapan, CUC acting executive director John Riegel told Saipan Tribune.<\/p>\n<p>Riegel said the CNMI did well during the storm.<\/p>\n<p>As for the outages, Riegel said they came back within an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the CNMI ports have since reopened after they were closed for hazardous conditions due to the storm.<\/p>\n<p>Commonwealth Ports Authority executive director Maryann Lizama confirmed this yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. Coast Guard Captain J.B.
