Ten persons took their oath on Thursday in federal court as the newest U.S. citizens.<\/p>\n

Saipan Mayor David M. Apatang served as the guest speaker at the naturalization ceremony.<\/p>\n

U.S. District Court for the NMI Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona conducted the ceremony in conjunction with the Independence Day celebration.<\/p>\n

Immigration Services officer Shelia Kelty presented the new citizens, who are from the Philippines and China.<\/p>\n

After Manglona granted Kelty\u2019s motion to accept the new citizens, the 10 took oath of allegiance and pledge of allegiance to the U.S.<\/p>\n

The newest citizens are Clairta Lim So, Marietta Valentin Simondac, Ritzie Alcantara Ada, Cesar Anas Alas As, Lanquiang Li Barcinas, Josefina Bayani Espinosa, Kuma Xiong Lee, Jesus Manglicmot Marfil, Leonor Vicente Marfil, and Tita Pano Roberts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
