The Jokers Homeboyz and the Hobbies Deadshot arranged a title showdown for Budweiser Cup Thursday Open 8-ball crown after beating separate opponents in separate semis matches last week.<\/p>\n

The Homeboyz completed a 9-6 upset win over regular season champions Wild Bill\u2019s while the Deadshot routed Jonny\u2019s Team SCS, 9-3.<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s finals, however, will be rescheduled due to Typhoon Nangka. The Deadshot were going to host the Homeboyz in their home bar at Jokers.<\/p>\n

The Homeboyz also defeated the Abyss Rack \u2018N\u2019 Roll while the Deadshot beat the Smoke Pub Magic 8-Ball on their way to the finals.<\/p>\n

The Abyss Titans clinched the regular season crown with Wild Bill\u2019s placing second. Regular season topnotcher Route33 Alamo Car Rental finished third while the Homeboyz fourth.<\/p>\n

In the Tuesday league, the Jokers IT&E Voyagers and Abyss Crazy 8 moved on to the semifinals after dispatching separate foes in the race-to-nine series.<\/p>\n

The Voyagers and Crazy 8 completed 9-8 win over the Smoke Pub Armatech Hustlers and Jokers STR8 Shooters last July 7.<\/p>\n

The semis matches are set next Tuesday with the Smoke Pub Ali\u2019I Destroyers and the Abyss Homeboyz II forming the other pair. The finals is on July 21.<\/p>\n

The Voyagers ruled the regular season with the Hustlers and Crazy 8 placing second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n

The awards banquet will be held on July 26, Sunday, 10:30am to 3:00pm at Pacific Islands Club\u2019s Charley\u2019s Cabaret.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
