Customer Appreciation Basketball League last Monday night at the TSL Sports Complex.<\/p>\n<p>Diaz scored 32 points beating Reyes\u2019 31 as Docomo along with Saipan Ice joined Marianas Resort and Tan Holdings in the win column.<\/p>\n<p>Commonwealth Utilities Corp. was battling Marianas Brokers Inc. and Joeten Enterprises were playing against McDonald\u2019s at press time.<\/p>\n<p>Diaz poured in 13 of his 16 first half points in the second period to help Docomo erect a 54-33 lead at the turn.<\/p>\n<p>Docomo was never threatened after that and always had an answer to TDI\u2019s repeated comeback tries to cruise to the double-digit win.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Sanciangco, Melvin Manibusan, and Richard Mendiola combined for 32 points to back up Diaz\u2019s game-long brilliance. Three other players\u2014Conrad Sablan, Rick Sanchez, and Jaynard White turned in 8 markers each, while Jayson Hayes had 4 to end Docomo\u2019s scoring.<\/p>\n<p>Raymond Velasco also had a productive output for TDI with 29, while Jeron Reyes had a quiet 11 markers.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Saipan Ice held Cape Air to a free throw in the opening period in coasting to a lopsided 78-41 decision.<\/p>\n<p>Derick Rangamar was on fire for Saipan Ice as he scattered 27 points to lead their team\u2019s offensive onslaught while John Santy collected 21 markers.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Welson and Treat Kaipat each contributed 12 and 11 points also for Saipan Ice, which enjoyed a 60-27 spread entering the final 10 minutes of play.<\/p>\n<p>Only four players scored for Saipan Ice with James Yanrulu and Benedict Canete ending up with 14 and 13 markers, while George Camacho and Isiah Tamalo finishing with 8 and 6 points apiece.<\/p>\n<p><strong>First Game<\/strong><br \/>\nSaipan Ice 78 \u2013 Rangamar 27, Santy 21, Welson 12, Kaipat 11, Smith 5, Cayading 2.<\/p>\n<p>Cape Air 41 \u2013 Yanrulu 14, Canete 13, Camacho 8, Tamalo 6.<\/p>\n<p>Scoring by quarters: 22-1, 44-17, 60-27, 78-41.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second Game<\/strong><br \/>\nDocomo 92 \u2013 Diaz 32, Sanciangco 12, Manibusan 11, Mendiola 9, Sablan 8, Sanchez 8, White 8, Hayes 4.<\/p>\n<p>TDI 79 \u2013 A.
