{"id":207143,"date":"2015-08-06T06:00:08","date_gmt":"2015-08-05T20:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=207143"},"modified":"2015-08-06T06:00:08","modified_gmt":"2015-08-05T20:00:08","slug":"salvation-army-to-hold-soup-kitchen-everyday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/salvation-army-to-hold-soup-kitchen-everyday\/","title":{"rendered":"Salvation Army to hold soup kitchen everyday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Salvation Army in the CNMI opened their soup kitchen yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>According to Pastor Wayne Gillespie, they were able to serve 76 meals.<\/p>\n<p>They were only open until past 3pm yesterday but Gillespie said that starting today, they will be serving the public meals from 12pm to 5pm every day until further notice.<\/p>\n<p>Soup kitchens will be held at the Salvation Army office on Beach Road, across the street from Hopwood Middle School.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnybody can walk in,\u201d Gillespie said.<\/p>\n<p>Gillespie also encourages those who want to donate for the soup kitchen to do so.
