Guam and Palau went on attack mode early on to school the host\u2019s two teams in Day 2 of the 2015 Micronesian Basketball Tournament U15 yesterday at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.<\/p>\n

Guam cruised to a 94-41 win over the Marianas Dolphins for its second win in the western division\u2019s regional tournament for players in the Under-15 age group, while Palau blitzed past Marianas Tataga, 103-32.<\/p>\n

Guam trounced the Marianas Alu\u2019u, 101-27, in Sunday\u2019s last game.<\/p>\n

Guam scored in bunches in the second period to pull away from a 23-11 advantage in the opening period. Guam outscored the Dolphins, 33-8, for a 56-19 edge at the turn.<\/p>\n

They then held the Dolphins to 6 points in the third and were never threatened after that.<\/p>\n

The Dolphins\u2019 shots failed to hit their mark and committed numerous errors that Guam converted into points. If the field goals were recorded the Dolphins\u2019 shooting percentage was below 30 percent. Missed free throws also did not help their cause.<\/p>\n

Michael Min scattered 18 points to lead all scorers, while Napu San Luis, Gabriel Simon, DeAndre Cruz, and Mark Temerowski added 13, 12, 11, and 10 respectively.<\/p>\n

Angelo Factor tallied 11 points for the Dolphins, while Christian Arceo and Dalton Dancoe chipped in 10 and 8 markers each.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Palau scored a 70-point humbling of the Marianas Tataga, 102-32, to bounce back from a 61-56 loss to the Dolphins on opening day.<\/p>\n

All Palau players used by coach Logan Ngiriou scored in the game with M.J. Baysa compiling 24 points to lead four of his teammates that end up in twin digits.<\/p>\n

Omar Ganac tallied 16 markers, Wallace Worswick had 15, while Roldan De Lina and Garnett Sungino combined for 20 points.<\/p>\n

No Tataga player reached double figures with J.P. Cruz scoring 8, while Elijah Quiroz and Matthew Richardson tallying 6 and 5 points apiece. John Ichihara and Roger Valencia made 4 points each while Joseph Kisa and Matthew Ong rounded up the scoring with 3 and 2 markers, respectively.<\/p>\n
