There has been no confirmation yet if Best Sunshine International, Ltd. will open its \u201clive training facility\u201d this weekend at the T Galleria.<\/p>\n
Commonwealth Casino Commission executive director Edward Deleon Guerrero said last week that BSI is looking to open the casino \u201cthis month.\u201d He confirmed that the facility now has gaming machines.<\/p>\n
A source, requesting anonymity, said the casino will open on Sunday.<\/p>\n
BSI put out a full-page ad yesterday in the Saipan Tribune, saying the \u201cBest Sunshine Live casino offers state-of-the-art facilities.\u201d It did not specify an opening date.<\/p>\n
Commission chair Juan Sablan said as far as he knows, BSI has yet to give an advisory on the casino opening.<\/p>\n
The commission will have a meeting this Friday, but Sablan declined did not say if the casino opening is on the agenda.<\/p>\n
Saipan Tribune tried contacting BSI but was not able to get a confirmation on the supposed opening.<\/p>\n
BSI earlier said the opening date for the casino is a \u201cmoving target.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Mark Brown, CEO of BSI, the company has about 150 employees.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn terms of number of employees, we\u2019re pushing 150 employees right now locally in our building,\u201d Brown said, adding that the firm is \u201coutgrowing our building, and every Monday it seems there are 30 or 40 more people are coming in.\u201d<\/p>\n
