Assistant attorney general Heather Barcinas appeared for the government at the hearing.

Police detective Catherine B. Pangelinan stated in her report that on Monday at 12:13pm, a police officer responded to the residence of Juan Laniyo Norita in Dandan, where a criminal mischief reportedly occurred.

Norita told the police officer that his stepson, Teregeyo, damaged his other son’s 4X4 pick-up truck by kicking the door, throwing a telephone on the car, and then poking the left tires with a screwdriver.

The officer observed the truck having a big dent and scratches to the left driver’s side door and the left rear tire was flat due to a punctured hole.

The officer observed Teregeyo’s mother was crying and appeared scared. The mother served as third-party custodian for Teregeyo in his pending criminal case.

The mother told police that she was cooking in the kitchen when Teregeyo put down the house’s phone and shouted profanities at the phone.

Teregeyo then asked his mother for the key to the truck because he was seeing a friend at a store. He then asked Norita for the key.

Norita refused to give the keys because it has a brake problem and that someone was going to fix it. Teregeyo got mad and allegedly threatened he would kill his stepfather.

Norita walked to a neighbor’s house to use the phone and call the police.

Teregeyo went inside the house, broke the phone line, then kicked the truck driver side’s door and punctured the left rear tire with a screwdriver.

Last May 1, police arrested Teregeyo for allegedly stealing a Chanel bag that contained some items belonging to a tourist at the beach side of Aquarius Beach Tower Hotel in Susupe.

Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho imposed a $5,000 cash bail, but later agreed to modify the bail by allowing the defendant to post a property bond.

Teregeyo was allowed to post a property bond, then released to his mother, who served as his third-party custodian.

Last April 26, police arrested Teregeyo for allegedly refusing to leave the house of his wife, with whom he had an argument with over the stolen purse from a tourist. A neighbor apparently informed the wife that the defendant hid the stolen purse.

Teregeyo was then freed on a $250 unsecured bond.

Police arrested on Tuesday again Syl Kolin Kaipat Teregeyo, this time for allegedly threatening to…

[4
5966,1673,3791,88
post-208736","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news","tag-cindy-nebit","tag-heather-barcinas","tag-last-april","tag-superior-court
["GET
