Stolen from the house located at the back of the building were a big white vault that contained documents, checks, and other undetermined items.

A certain Dr. Chio owns the house and the commercial building located at the corner of Taibwo Street corner Beach Road. Dr. Chio is currently in Taiwan.

Flor Salazar, owner of Flor Hair Salon, discovered the burglary when she and her husband went to open the shop yesterday at about 10:30am.

Salazar said when she got inside, she noticed that their cash register was in a different place and items were scattered all over the floor.

Salazar said thieves stole their inverter, car battery, and hair clipper that they placed in the wax room.

She said a friend just lent them the inverter on Sunday because they don’t have power at the salon.

The businesswoman said towels were also scattered in the facial room.

Salazar and her husband showed to Saipan Tribune the broken small glass window in the bathroom as the suspects’ possible entry.

Salazar said it was the second time that their beauty parlor had been burglarized. She said burglars broke a window glass on the side of their salon and stole their cash register and two clippers in 2005.

Girl Talk owner Penelope Hofschneider said stolen was their cash register that contained an undetermined amount of daily change fund.

Hofschneider said the doorknob of the wooden door at the rear portion of Girl Talk was destroyed.

Hofschneider said she is very disappointed that this burglary happened because the CNMI is now in a difficult situation as people are already suffering after Typhoon Soudelor.

Hofschneider also owns the Lollipops toy store in Garapan.

Emer, an accountant/manager for Dr. Chio, urged the community to report to the police if they are aware of certain people seeking help to open a big white vault. Emer believes there is more than one suspect because the vault is heavy.

She also suspects that the burglars used a child because the point of entry into her employer’s house was the small glass window in the bathroom.

Emer said Choi’s house was totally ransacked and turned upside down. She said Choi’s computer, however, was not stolen.

Two establishments were burglarized and a house located in the same one-story commercial building in…

[4
162,6679,67,38
post-209038","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news","tag-car","tag-girl-talk","tag-people","tag-saipan-tribune
["GET
