Students from Eskuelan San Francisco de Borja excelled in the recent \u201cAluf Luta (Rota Wave)\u201d essay and poster contests.<\/p>\n
\u201cTheir essays and posters clearly demonstrate the understanding these students have of the theme, \u2018Aluf Luta,\u2019\u201d said administrator\/principal Carmen H. Atalig. \u201cI am proud of their God given talents.\u201d<\/p>\n
The winners from ESFDB are:
\n\u2022 Marvin Clitar, 7th grade student, who won first place in the essay contest in the 6th to 8th grade division;
\n\u2022 Titus Hocog (3rd grade), AJ Tobongbanua (3rd grade), and Perry Mesngon II (3rd grade), who took first, second, and third places respectively in the Kindergarten to 3rd grade division;
\n\u2022 Autumn Hocog (4th grade), SonJoe Manuel (4th grade), and \u00c9clair Ladao (4th grade), who took first, second, and third places in the 4th to 5th grade division.<\/p>\n
Parents and students attended an awards ceremony for all the winners and participants at the Teteto Beach during the Labor Day celebration on Sunday, Sept. 6.<\/p>\n
The students were awarded cash prizes, incentives, and certificates for their participation.
