The CNMI Junior Golf program resumed its Fall season activities yesterday at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort driving range from 5pm to 6:30pm.<\/p>\n
The JunGolf program will be held twice a week every Tuesdays and Thursdays and is open to boys and girls from 7 to 16 years old.<\/p>\n
The first of the three, three-month sessions will run from Sept. 22 to Oct. 15. The next will be from Oct. 20 to Nov. 12, while the last is from Nov. 17 to Dec. 10.<\/p>\n
The fees are $80 for monthly, which is due upon registration and will be for eight sessions, while $20 per session for walk-ins.<\/p>\n
The program is also open to children of Laolao Bay Golf & Resort employees at $5 per session.<\/p>\n
A parent or a guardian must sign a liability waiver form. Golf equipment will also be provided.<\/p>\n
Parents or guardians are also welcome to join the program with the same price of registration fees for kids.<\/p>\n
Use of the swimming pool is also free of charge for the participating kids every Tuesdays and Thursdays, while $5 each for their companions\u2014parents, siblings, friends.<\/p>\n
J.J. Atalig, Jack San Nicolas, Franco Santos, and Laolao Bay Golf & Resort manager Tony Satur are the instructors of the JunGolf program.<\/p>\n
Laolao Bay Golf Resort previously held a Summer camp from July 20 to Aug. 9 to 20 kids aged 7 to 13 where they learned about skills, safety, and etiquette.<\/p>\n
In other news, Satur said a fundraising golf tournament is in the works where proceeds will go to victims of Typhoon Soudelor.<\/p>\n
Laolao Bay Golf & Resort management, as part of its corporate social responsibility and service to the community, also released a schedule for giving free drinking water.<\/p>\n
Members of the community could line up at the driving range with their containers.<\/p>\n
The schedule will be from Mondays to Fridays from 6:30am to 7:30am and 3:30pm to 6:30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 4pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
