It is one of the three major holidays of their country and a time for giving thanks to their ancestors for the year’s harvest.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="http://www.saipantribune.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/hyatt-korean-1-300x169.jpg" alt="Aside from Korean favorites such as beef bulgogi and kalbi, spicy squid is also among the dishes featured in Kili Café’s Tour of Asia Sunday dinner buffet Korean station. (Frauleine S. However, unlike the common beef bulgogi, Kili Café will be serving it in the traditional Korean way.

Hyatt’s Korean sales manager Helen Shin said it is better to eat bulgogi by hand. This is done by wrapping the beef in lettuce and adding kimchi to spice up the flavor. Eating a bulgogi this way makes the flavors and texture enhance each other with every bite. Follow it up with a chunk of rice and you’ll soon be asking for more!

Korean kalbi or barbecued short ribs is another grilled favorite. According to Kili’s chef de cuisine Inas Hocog, it is almost similar to bulgogi in terms of marinating but bulgogi is sweeter.

Kili Café will also serve a variety of kimchis made from turnip, cucumber, and bean sprouts.

Other much-loved Korean festive staples such as marinated pork belly, spicy squid, and dumplings are available. Dinner will be followed by customary desserts and includes free flowing beer, wine, and iced tea. Korean soju will be available for purchase at a special price.

Dinner starts at 6pm at $42 per person.
