Ada Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>In the first game, Bayani\/LBT Appraisal whipped VisMinda\/Hi-Five, 91-67, for its debut win.<\/p>\n<p>Bayani scored 22 points each in the first and second quarters, while limiting VisMinda to 23 points in the opening half en route to the easy win.<\/p>\n<p>Jack Palacios led Bayani&#8217;s lopsided victory with his 17 points, while Tony Diaz and Alex Ocampo added 16, and Felix Palacios chipped in 11. Diaz had 7 in the first period, lifting Bayani to a 21-11 advantage, while Jack Palacios also had 7 in the second canto for a comfortable 44-23 halftime lead. Bayani never looked back from thereon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Batangas 78, MAFEA 49<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the second game, Batangas\/Fong&#8217;s Bakery recovered from its opening day loss to MDX\/Armatech (63-72) with a big 29-point win over MAFEA\/CMI.<\/p>\n<p>A 30-14 scoring in the third period allowed Batangas to pull away after a close first half that ended with MAFEA behind by only four, 22-26.<\/p>\n<p>Joel Buniag, Jun Abedes, and Romy Bernardo joined forces in the third-quarter juggernaut, combining for 19 points, while their three other teammates also made it to the scoreboard that showed Batangas already on top by 20, 56-36.<\/p>\n<p>Abedes went on to top-score for Batangas with 22 points, while Buniag contributed 19.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MDX 95, Laguna 78<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Defending champion MDX\/Armatech closed out the night with a 17-point win over Laguna\/Twinkle.<\/p>\n<p>A 24-9 start was all MDX needed to get its second win in as many games and take the early lead in the six-team field.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Moreno led MDX&#8217;s good start, scoring 11 straight points in the opening canto. He finished with 15, just one point short of the team&#8217;s leading scorer, Yosh Gabaldon. The 10 MDX players also scored, showing the defending champion&#8217;s much deeper bench against the depleted roster of Laguna.<\/p>\n<p><strong>First Game<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bayani\/LBT Appraisal 91 &#8211; J.
