A woman facing a charge in federal court for enticing her then-15-year-old cousin to engage in sex for cash with a government official in 2013 was found using methamphetamine or \u201cice\u201d last week.<\/p>\n
U.S. Probation Officer Specialist Margarita DLG. Wonenberg informed the U.S. District Court for the NMI about Alexandra Castro Macabalo\u2019s alleged use of \u201cice\u201d and other violations of her bail conditions.<\/p>\n
According to Wonenberg, Macabalo was subjected to a urinalysis test and came up presumptive positive for \u201cice\u201d use.<\/p>\n
When confronted with the results, Macabalo admitted that she used \u201cice\u201d last Sept. 20, Wonenberg said.<\/p>\n
The probation officer said Macabalo also failed to report for urinalysis last Sept. 3 and for a noncompliance meeting last Sept. 4.<\/p>\n
The defendant also failed to report for group counseling last Sept. 4 and for a noncompliance meeting last Sept. 7. She again failed to show up for family counseling last Sept. 21.<\/p>\n
Federal Bureau of Investigation agents arrested Macabalo last April after a complaint was filed in court, charging her with enticement of a minor to engage in prostitution and other sexual activity.<\/p>\n
An indictment was later subsequently filed, charging her with one count of enticement of a minor.<\/p>\n
