The Rotary Club of Saipan began their dictionary distribution on Thursday for school year 2015-2016.<\/p>\n

The club\u2019s annual project is gives away dictionaries to third graders in all schools, both public and private, on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

\nThe project is headed this year by Rotary vocational services director Wendell Posadas.<\/p>\n

For their first stop, the Rotary Club went to Grace Christian Academy where a class of 23 was able to receive dictionaries.<\/p>\n

Posadas also shared with students the Rotary Club\u2019s Four-Way Test, which is an ethical guide for Rotarians for their personal and professional relationships.<\/p>\n

According to Posadas, they have more than 700 dictionaries now but will need to order more.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s our target to distribute everything before the year ends,\u201d Posadas said.<\/p>\n

He added that they will also be giving away dictionaries to some of the third graders last year\u2014who are now fourth graders\u2014who didn\u2019t get one.<\/p>\n

Tinian Grace Christian Academy and Agape School in Saipan ended classes last year before Rotary Club was able to schedule a distribution.<\/p>\n

For school year 2014-2015, Rotary distributed a total of 886 dictionaries to nine public schools and 11 private schools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
