Villanueva)\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Project Ayudu was launched by Tan Holdings and Tan Siu Lin Foundation to sell 10,000 shirts to raise $150,000 that will be used to rebuild damaged or destroyed homes on Saipan due to Typhoon Soudelor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll the money is going back to the community and it\u2019s amazing to see a lot of community members come here to support our first 5K and we hope to continue this maybe every year and contribute to the community,\u201d said PCF Class of 2014 member Jackie Che.<\/p>\n<p>With only a few weeks to make it happen, PCF said they are happy they were still able to meet their goal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe actually set a modest target of 300 and we exceeded it so we\u2019re happy for that,\u201d PCF class of 2014 Eulalia Villagomez said.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the Guma\u2019 Simiyan Ma\u00f1aina-ta performed a traditional blessing prior to the run.<\/p>\n<p>After everyone finished the course from the Garapan Fishing Base to Quartermaster Road, raffle prizes were given away, including a trip to Japan from Delta Air Lines and gift certificates from McDonald\u2019s, Cutz and Colours, Pacific Islands Club Saipan, Kanoa Resort\u2019s Isla Caf\u00e9 and Nami Bar, and Let\u2019s Go Tours. Some appliances as well as a mountain bike were also given away.<\/p>\n<p>PCF-Marianas Chapter chair Jerry Tan thanked everyone who came to the run.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou are part of the 10,000 this morning. The very shirt that all of you are wearing right now. We\u2019d like to say thank you for being part of this effort,\u201d Tan said.<\/p>\n<p>Tan also shared that since Project Ayudu was launched about a month ago, 7,500 of the 10,000 shirts have already been sold, meaning over $110,000 was already raised for rebuilding and long-term recovery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut the job is not done yet. We still have about 2,500 more to go,\u201d Tan added.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from Saipan, shirts are also being sold in Guam.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is all going to help.
