Monroyo)

The league will have two divisions and games will take place in separate venues. Division B games will be played at the Koblerville Elementary School Field every Saturday, while Division A games every Sunday will be held at the Oleai Sports Complex Field. Saturday matches at Koblerville are tentatively set for 9:30am and 10:30am, while the lone game at the Oleai pitch is slated at 2:30pm.

As of yesterday, three teams have confirmed participation in Division B with Matansa Football Club leading the list and will be joined by Kanoa FC and Paire FC. League coordinator Angie Ito is still waiting confirmation from MP United FC to complete the four-team field.

Teams in Division B will play in a round-robin format because the season has been shortened in the aftermath of Typhoon Soudelor. Games will be 8 aside and each squad is allowed to have a maximum of 18 players on its roster. Matches will be two 25-minute halves with a five-minute break.

In Division A, players will be divided into three teams. Players will come from about 40 who have signified their intention to join the Dove women’s league.

This will be the second season that the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association-sanctioned women’s league has lured a corporate sponsor in Dove.

Dove, through its maker Unilever and D&Q Saipan, has committed $30,000 worth of sponsorship to NMIFA’s women’s football program for three years, beginning last spring. Early this month, Max P. Kretzers, resident manager of D&Q Saipan, turned over $5,000 as part of Dove’s sponsorship package for the league’s fall season.

Organizers of the 2015 Dove Women’s Football Fall League are eyeing an Oct. 24 opening….

[5
7687,4459,198,6333
post-212734","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sports","tag-football-fall-league","tag-matansa-football-club","tag-nmifa","tag-typhoon-soudelor
["GET
