Only last year, when the school won the junior division of the 11th Annual Valentine N. Sengebau Poetry Competition for the second time in a row.<\/p>\n<p>In preparation for the 12th Annual Valentine N. Sengebau event, parents and guests gathered at As Paris Restaurant on Oct. 17, 2015, to listen, watch, and enjoy the school level 2nd Valentine N. Sengebau Poetry Recital, and musical talent and literary performance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPoetry is an accessible and personal art form for all ages to enjoy,\u201d said administrator\/principal Carmen H. Atalig. \u201cCongratulations must be given to the students for their participation and dedication to learning their poems, musical number, and dances.  And a big thank you to the teachers who assisted in the students\u2019 God-given talents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s 11th Annual Valentine N. Sengebau\u2019s junior division school representative Angelo Lucero and 7th grader Jeremy John Atalig II will represent the school in the 12th annual competition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am excited.
