{"id":213045,"date":"2015-10-26T06:06:24","date_gmt":"2015-10-25T20:06:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=213045"},"modified":"2015-10-26T06:06:24","modified_gmt":"2015-10-25T20:06:24","slug":"all-mobil-gas-stations-on-saipan-now-operational","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/all-mobil-gas-stations-on-saipan-now-operational\/","title":{"rendered":"All Mobil gas stations on Saipan now operational"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mobil announced Friday that its Chalan Piao service station, which suffered significant damage as a result of Typhoon Soudelor, is now operational.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement Friday, Mobil said that motorists gassing up at the Chalan Piao station may use a temporary kiosk at the service station to refuel. Work continues on the building that houses the convenience store in the back court of the station. The convenience store is expected to open for business sometime in the first quarter of next year.<\/p>\n<p>Ten of Mobil\u2019s service stations sustained minor damage when Typhoon Soudelor hit the island in early August. They were quickly fixed and were open to first responders and essential services within a day after the typhoon.<\/p>\n<p>With services restored at the Chalan Piao station, Mobil\u2019s entire network of service stations on Saipan is now open to serve the public.<\/p>\n<p>While repair work on the station was carried out by local contractors, the Mobil team on Saipan also tapped the company\u2019s resources and expertise from around the region, for the various other matters that were required for the station to be operational.
