IT&E chief executive officer John Compton was inducted into the Rotary Club of Saipan Tuesday during its weekly meeting at the Hyatt Regency Saipan.<\/p>\n

According to Rotary president Curtis Dancoe, the club continues to admit into its membership individuals who are interested in accepting the mission of Rotary.<\/p>\n

Compton was accepted into the Rotary Club of Saipan under the sponsorship of charter member and past president David M. Sablan.<\/p>\n

In expressing his gratitude, Compton said he has been \u201cinterested in joining [Rotary] since I arrived [on Saipan] in September. I have a genuine interest both at a professional level and personal level of seeing my company be more involved in Saipan and in the community to make it better\u2026 so if I can be of any service\u2026I\u2019d be more than happy to help.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dancoe recognized Compton as a worthy representative who possesses the qualities that exemplify the spirit of Rotary in both his professional and personal accomplishments.<\/p>\n

Compton has extensive experience in telecommunications and served as a director of network systems for Redstone Technologies in Florida and as a partner for the Newport Board Group of board directors and senior executive leaders with deep knowledge of business and strategy, operations, and capital markets before joining IT&E as its CEO.<\/p>\n

Last month the club also inducted to its ranks Imperial Pacific vice president for corporate services and communications Tao Xing, constructions operations manager of Triple J Saipan Mario Valentino, retired engineer Steven Connor, Imperial Pacific public relations director David Largent, Micronesian Legal Services Corp. executive director Lee Pliscou, and Imperial Pacific corporate vice president Mary Mendoza.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
