Lucas \u201cIrish Zombie\u201d Nutting is confident of earning his second win, while Derrick Asao feels nervous when he showcases his skills for the first time.<\/p>\n

A.J. \u201cSmalls\u201d Aldan and Derek \u201cHot Shot\u201d Naog said they are reserving their energy and would rather let their fighting do the talking in the event set on Nov. 27, Friday, at the Royal Taga Hall of the Saipan World Resort.<\/p>\n

Nutting, who will go up against Jones Langu for the second fight of his young mixed martial arts career, said he is aiming for a quick result against the RedAntsAcademy bet.<\/p>\n

The Trench Tech Gym fighter, who prepared for three months, added that he is confident in beating Langu when they clash in the three-round bantamweight bout.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old Nutting even had some choice words for Langu, firing the opening salvo even before they face-off inside the cage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI watched Jones Langu fight a couple of times but I don\u2019t see any potential threats. I know I\u2019m going to pick him apart and finish the fight in under a minute,\u201d said Nutting, who won his debut against Tan Tasacan by Guillotine choke in Trench Warz 17: Road to Glory.<\/p>\n

Nutting, who will start his studies for business and education degrees in the spring semester at the Northern Marianas College, said that his newly born son, Logan Pierre Tenorio Nutting, is his inspiration.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to show my son that when you work hard you can achieve glory. I want him to look up to me and become a good role model,\u201d Nutting added.<\/p>\n

Team Zalaka\u2019s Asao, who doesn\u2019t know who will be his opponent, has trained for two months. \u201cI feel nervous since this is my first time to fight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aldan (3-1) will have the entire Saipan World Resort cheering for him when he takes on Timothy Salas of Zalaka in the opening bout. He works at the Susupe hotel.<\/p>\n

Naog, who has been fighting since 2013, will test how far would his one-month training go when he battles Albert \u201cBaby Sanchai\u201d Andrea of Guam Muay Thai in one of the four K1 bouts. \u201cI always aim to become better in what I do so I could reach the top.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trench Warz 19 tickets are now available at Boarderline, Trench Tech Gym, IT&E\u2019s Middle Road office, and Swirls on Garapan. Ticket prices are $25 for general admission and $35 for VIP seats.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
