That’s a dilemma that The Admiral plans to remedy.

With a name that’s inspired by the ships that can be seen from its wooden deck, The Admiral will soon be opening to serve the public once again.

Located along Beach Road near the JP Centre, the rustic and unassuming restaurant will offer great food with a great view.

“We plan to offer simple, comfort food that people can enjoy while taking in the great view of the Saipan Lagoon,” said restaurant owner Granz Narciso. “My customers will feel like they’re in their homes, enjoying a home-cooked meal and enjoying the view.”

At The Admiral, one can order a refreshing soup of timeless pork sinigang (tamarind soup), or the satiating broth of bulalo (beef shank soup). Filipino favorites such as crispy pata, pork and chicken barbecue, grilled squid, and mussels are also available. For dessert, a glass of halo-halo will be among the choices.

“In the evening, we will be serving more of the grilled items,” he said.

According to Narciso, they specialize in Filipino food but they will also offer Japanese and Korean food and eventually add steak to their menu.

For their initial operation and soft reopening tomorrow, Nov. 14, The Admiral will serve breakfast and dinner, which is from 6am to 8am and 5pm to 10pm.

“We’re working a schedule for the lunch. Definitely, later on, we’re going to be operating from breakfast to dinner,” Narciso said.

But The Admiral will be more than just a restaurant at night. After 10pm, it will be a cool place to relax and unwind with a glass of beer and other drinks, as well as a chance to practice your vocal chords on their karaoke machine.

“Everyone can just chill outside. I can offer something that’s very affordable to the customer,” Narciso said.

For reservations, contact 233-3124.

Aside from hotels and expensive bars and restaurants, there are not enough places on island…

[4
160,42,8173,67
post-214471","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news","tag-beach-road","tag-food","tag-granz-narciso","tag-people
["GET
