Bank of Hawaii is now accepting applications for the I Kinometi Para I Kumunid\u00e5t I Isl\u00e5-ta Small Business Revitalization and Development Grant for projects that stimulate small business development and economic activity on Saipan. Small business owners with a successful track record in business operation or management and who have not yet been a recipient of the grant are invited to submit applications by Friday, Nov. 27, 2015. Grants will be awarded of up to $5,000 each.<\/p>\n
Bank of Hawaii established the grant program in 2012 to promote new businesses in the Western Pacific region and to encourage existing small businesses to expand.<\/p>\n
If not already completed, grant awardees are required to successfully complete one of the following before Dec. 29, 2015:<\/p>\n
CNMI Small Business Development Center small business training program<\/p>\n
Bank of Hawaii Smart Money small business financial education training<\/p>\n
Grant awardees are also expected to report back to the bank on how the grant has made a difference to their business and the community by Dec. 29, 2015.<\/p>\n
