(Jon Perez)\" width=\"179\" height=\"300\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-214902\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-214902\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shane \u201cPikaboo\u201d Alvarez hopes to ride the momentum of his victory over Jessie \u201cThe Finisher\u201d Rafols last August when he takes on Japanese bet Yutaro Muramoto in next month\u2019s Pacific Xtreme Combat 50 at the University of Guam Calvo Fieldhouse.<br \/>(Jon Perez)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Camacho (17-3 with 13 knockouts) will be facing Guam\u2019s Jones (5-4 with 3 KOs) for the vacant PXC lightweight belt after the semi main event where Yusuke Yachi of Japan (13-4 with 2 KOs) will try to defend his featherweight championship belt against Australian Alex \u201cThe Hulk\u201d Volkanovsky (10-1 with 6 KOs).<\/p>\n<p>Alvarez (11-2 with 3 KOs) will now be facing Yutaro Muramoto in a three-round bout in the 125-lb (flyweight) weight class after fellow Japanese bet Kentaro Watanabe (10-7 with 3 KOs) unexpectedly pulled out.<\/p>\n<p>The Trench Tech fighter, in an exclusive interview with the Saipan Tribune, said he did not stop training right after his victory by rear-naked choke submission of Filipino bet Jessie \u201cThe Finisher\u201d Rafols (8-5 with 1 KO) in PXC 49 last Aug. 7 also in Guam.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe started training camp early a few days after my win [over Jessie Rafols]. It has been a solid three months of almost everyday training. You got to work hard for it if you want to be the best,\u201d said Alvarez during a break in his training at the Trench Tech Gym.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight now, I\u2019m starting to cut weight to reach the 125-lb weight limit. I\u2019m trying to lose a pound a day. I am doing a lot of jogging that\u2019s why I drink a lot of water, because once you started to sweat, it won\u2019t stop. Also, I\u2019m on a strict lean meat diet and I\u2019m sticking to eating green vegetables,\u201d added Alvarez.<\/p>\n<p>He said that he plans to do nothing fancy against Muramoto and will try to fight smart. \u201cI\u2019ll try to watch it closely. I plan to have an exciting fight against him.
