{"id":215326,"date":"2015-11-26T06:00:51","date_gmt":"2015-11-25T20:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=215326"},"modified":"2015-11-26T06:00:51","modified_gmt":"2015-11-25T20:00:51","slug":"military-training-at-fdm-warning-area-517-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/military-training-at-fdm-warning-area-517-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Military training at FDM, Warning Area 517"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ASAN, Guam<\/strong>\u2014The U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps will conduct training at the island of Farallon de Medinilla during the following dates and times:<br \/>\n\u2022 Nov. 30, from noon to 7pm<br \/>\n\u2022 Dec. 2, from 10am to 11pm<br \/>\n\u2022 Dec. 3, from 2-11pm<br \/>\n\u2022 Dec. 4-5, from 2-9pm<br \/>\n\u2022 Dec. 6, from 2-10pm<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Navy will conduct training at Warning Area 517 on Dec. 2, from 7pm to 11pm<\/p>\n<p>The general public, especially fishermen, commercial pilots, and marine tour operators, are advised to stay clear of the areas during the dates and times indicated.<\/p>\n<p>The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be on a 10-nautical mile radius on all quadrants.<\/p>\n<p>W-517 is an irregular shaped polygon comprising of 14,000 nautical square miles of airspace that begins south of Guam and extends south-southwest in international waters.
