{"id":215406,"date":"2015-11-27T06:06:05","date_gmt":"2015-11-26T20:06:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=215406"},"modified":"2015-11-27T06:06:05","modified_gmt":"2015-11-26T20:06:05","slug":"san-nicolas-zero-tolerance-for-ice-use","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/san-nicolas-zero-tolerance-for-ice-use\/","title":{"rendered":"San Nicolas: Zero tolerance for \u2018ice\u2019 use"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tinian Mayor Joey Patrick San Nicolas is reminding the island\u2019s government employees that he has zero tolerance for illegal drugs, particularly methamphetamine or \u201cice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>San Nicolas told Saipan Tribune that he has been very consistent in his stance against illegal drugs and has had conversations with employees and potential employees about his zero tolerance policy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you want to work for the public, then you must adhere to the rules. And one big rule is no use of illegal substances particularly crystal meth,\u201d the mayor said.<\/p>\n<p>He said many people have lost their savings and fortune because of addiction to \u201cice\u201d and other problems associated with the use of meth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy message is this: Do not violate the law. Do not use crystal meth.
