{"id":215971,"date":"2015-12-04T06:00:31","date_gmt":"2015-12-03T20:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=215971"},"modified":"2015-12-04T06:00:31","modified_gmt":"2015-12-03T20:00:31","slug":"free-health-screening-sunday-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/free-health-screening-sunday-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Free health screening on Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In an effort to increase awareness of maintaining good health and disease prevention, the US Pinoys for Good Governance and National Federation of Filipino American Associations-Marianas Chapter (CNMI and Guam), in collaboration with El Shaddai Saipan Chapter, will be holding a free three-hour health screening\u00a0on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, from 8am to 11am, at San Antonio Parish Social Hall, San Antonio, Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>Registration starts\u00a0at 7:30am\u00a0and will be continuing until\u00a010am.<\/p>\n<p>People who would like to avail of the blood sugar tests are advised to fast\u2014to refrain from eating and drinking liquids preferably 12 hours or at least two hours prior to the actual testing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Several\u00a0key vital metrics include blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, height, body mass index,\u00a0and vision. Knowing where your health stands helps you start realistic personal health goals for the rest of this year and for 2016.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFree health screening events help\u00a0members of our community take charge of their health.
