{"id":216142,"date":"2015-12-08T06:06:01","date_gmt":"2015-12-07T20:06:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=216142"},"modified":"2015-12-08T06:06:01","modified_gmt":"2015-12-07T20:06:01","slug":"govt-staff-man-arrested-ice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/govt-staff-man-arrested-ice\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt staff, man arrested for \u2018ice\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A government employee and a man were arrested over the weekend on Tinian for alleged trafficking and possession of methamphetamine or \u201cice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Didi San Nicolas Pascua, 33, an employee of the Tinian Fire Department, was arrested for trafficking and illegal possession of controlled substance. Her bail was set at  $25,000 cash.<\/p>\n<p>Frankie P. Cabrera, 40, was arrested for illegal possession of controlled substance. His bail was set at $5,000 cash.<\/p>\n<p>Court papers did not indicate if Pascua and Cabrera are related.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant public defender Cindy Nesbit was appointed as counsel for Pascua, while the court will appoint a private counsel for Cabrera.<\/p>\n<p>The police were reportedly investigating Pascua\u2019s alleged involvement in \u201cice\u201d trafficking and obtained a warrant to search her home and car last Nov. 25.<\/p>\n<p>Police detective Shawn Lee SN. Borja, DPS Tinian director Juan Santos Jr., and three other officers executed the warrant on Pascua\u2019s residence last Thursday at 4:45pm.<\/p>\n<p>Borja said said that Cabrera was found inside the house, sitting on the couch in the living room\/kitchen area.
