A government employee and a man were arrested over the weekend on Tinian for alleged trafficking and possession of methamphetamine or \u201cice.\u201d<\/p>\n
Didi San Nicolas Pascua, 33, an employee of the Tinian Fire Department, was arrested for trafficking and illegal possession of controlled substance. Her bail was set at $25,000 cash.<\/p>\n
Frankie P. Cabrera, 40, was arrested for illegal possession of controlled substance. His bail was set at $5,000 cash.<\/p>\n
Court papers did not indicate if Pascua and Cabrera are related.<\/p>\n
Assistant public defender Cindy Nesbit was appointed as counsel for Pascua, while the court will appoint a private counsel for Cabrera.<\/p>\n
The police were reportedly investigating Pascua\u2019s alleged involvement in \u201cice\u201d trafficking and obtained a warrant to search her home and car last Nov. 25.<\/p>\n
Police detective Shawn Lee SN. Borja, DPS Tinian director Juan Santos Jr., and three other officers executed the warrant on Pascua\u2019s residence last Thursday at 4:45pm.<\/p>\n
Borja said said that Cabrera was found inside the house, sitting on the couch in the living room\/kitchen area. Officers allegedly found two glass tubes with burned residue underneath the seat where Cabrera was seated.<\/p>\n
Borja said officers also found several cut and uncut straws that contained residue of a white powdery substance.<\/p>\n
In the bedroom, the officers allegedly found a purse that contained three baggies that had residue of a white powdery substance, as well as a bag containing a white crystalline substance and two weighing scales.<\/p>\n
The officers also searched Cabrera\u2019s car that was parked next to Pascua\u2019s residence and found two glass tubes and four straws. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
