Palacios Murig vowed to continue the growth and development of the CNMI\u2019s longest-running youth baseball program.<\/p>\n<p>Murig, in an email sent to the media, said the board will do everything they can to ensure another successful Little League season in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the end of the day, it\u2019s for our youth and we\u2019ll do everything we can to see that this season is on top of any other season. The board\u2019s goal is to see a better 2016 season, increase family participation, and to further grow and develop the program.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Murig added that the entire Saipan Little League family believes in the skills and talents of all the players under the program. \u201cWe\u2019ve made it to the [World Series], the highest level of play and I believe that [someday] we can take that title in all of our divisions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also said that they will be asking businesses for additional support this season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe board is aggressive in looking for sponsors\u2014corporate or any type. We have heard of businesses that want to help our program and we welcome everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The board will be meeting on Dec. 16 to come up with a sponsorship package that they will present to any business or individual interested in assisting the program.<\/p>\n<p>A separate meeting will also be held on Dec. 18 to accommodate those who are willing to become a sponsor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will be inviting interested business and individuals to voice their support and interest in assisting the program. We will be sending out letters to invite these businesses. Whoever comes to our meeting will be welcomed. Our doors are open,\u201d said Murig.<\/p>\n<p>Murig also thanked everyone who helped the Little League program in the past seasons as they again look forward for their continued assistance next year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe thank our sponsors as well as our government for the financial assistance that was given to our program in the past and we look forward to our continued partnership in the coming seasons.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saipan Little League Board Inc. president A.J.
