The United Filipino Organization will be holding its traditional Paskong Pinoy (Filipino Christmas) on Sunday, Dec. 20, from 10am to 9pm at the Marianas Business Plaza grounds in Susupe.<\/p>\n
The event has been held annually since UFO was formed in 1997. The group will be holding a meeting today to finalize the details of the annual event.<\/p>\n
UFO president Bong Malasarte said the event is open to all who want to join them in celebrating the holiday season.<\/p>\n
The UFO has lined up various activities, contests, and entertainment numbers for the crowd to enjoy in the event co-sponsored by IT&E and LBC.<\/p>\n
Kids will get the chance to participate in different games, Christmas art making contest, and gift-giving.<\/p>\n
The Christmas singing competition starts at 2pm with the choral, solo, and battle of the bands. Entries for the Christmas lantern-making contest will also be judged on the same day.<\/p>\n
The announcement of all the winners will be done after the battle of the bands.<\/p>\n
