The U.S. Marshal Service arrested again yesterday Alexandra Castro Macabalo for allegedly smoking methamphetamine or \u201cice\u201d and violating other pre-trial conditions.<\/p>\n
The U.S. Marshal Service served Macabalo with an arrest warrant issued on the same day yesterday by U.S. District Court for the NMI Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona.<\/p>\n
Manglona issued the arrest warrant after the U.S. Probation Office notified the court about Macabalo\u2019s alleged violations.<\/p>\n
Macabalo was taken to court yesterday afternoon.<\/p>\n
According to U.S. probation officer assistant Juanette David-Atalig, Macabalo tested positive for the use of \u201cice\u201d during a random drug test last Dec. 3 at the defendant\u2019s house on Saipan.<\/p>\n
David-Atalig said Macabalo also failed to appear for a scheduled group counseling last Dec. 12 and also did not attend her mental health appointment with a doctor at the Commonwealth Health Center last Dec. 11.<\/p>\n
The probation officer added that Macabalo failed to report to the U.S. Probation Office and failed to submit to location monitoring.<\/p>\n
Macabalo is facing a charge in federal court for enticing her then-15-year-old cousin to engage in sex for cash with a government official in 2013.<\/p>\n
Federal Bureau of Investigation agents arrested Macabalo last April after a complaint was filed in court, charging her with enticement of a minor to engage in prostitution and other sexual activity.<\/p>\n
