Lizama was re-elected by acclamation as board chairman for another year.<\/p>\n<p>Elaine Hocog-Orilla retained her vice chair post while Frank Rabauliman remains treasurer.<\/p>\n<p>In their individual messages yesterday, members emphasized the importance of \u201ccontinuity in leadership\u201d at the institution, especially in this time of accreditation challenges. NMC remains on continued show-cause status after it failed to resolve all deficiencies previously cited by the accreditation commission.
